Our Counselling with Art sessions are a gentle, powerful way to explore your emotions, process life experiences, and rediscover your inner strength—especially when traditional talk therapy feels overwhelming or limiting. Art helps externalize what’s within, offering healing through creativity. No artistic skill is needed—just a willingness to explore, express, and grow.
Living with ongoing pain can feel like a heavy burden, both physically and emotionally. Art therapy offers a space to give your pain a voice, helping you express the frustration, fear, and sadness that often comes with it. Together, we explore tools to manage your pain and reconnect with hope, strength, and self-compassion.
A chronic illness changes how you live, how you feel about your body, and how others see you. These sessions help you unpack the emotional weight of illness, express feelings of anger, sadness, or isolation, and explore ways to nurture yourself through it all. Art becomes a place of insight, healing, and self-care.
Trauma often hides beneath the surface, making it hard to process through words alone. Art allows for gentle, non-verbal exploration of painful experiences at your own pace. Whether you're healing from childhood trauma, medical trauma, emotional or physical abuse, these sessions help you reclaim your voice, release suppressed emotions and rebuild safety within.
Grief isn’t just about loss—it’s about love, memory, and transformation. In these sessions, art becomes a way to honor who or what you've lost, while also processing the complex emotions that come with it. Whether your grief is fresh or years old, this space holds room for your story and your healing.
If you struggle to see your worth or believe in yourself, art therapy can help you rediscover your value. These sessions are designed to build self-awareness, encourage self-expression, and nurture confidence in a gentle and creative way. You'll begin to shift the inner dialogue from self-doubt to self-acceptance, one brushstroke at a time.
Being diagnosed with a physical or mental health condition can bring up fear, confusion, grief, and even identity loss. These sessions support you in navigating that emotional journey. Art allows you to explore what the diagnosis means for you, helping you find peace, strength, and clarity as you move forward.
Healing from sexual abuse is deeply personal, and the path is different for everyone. Art therapy provides a safe, non-verbal way to process trauma, express pain, and begin restoring a sense of control, safety, and self-worth. You are not alone—these sessions are here to support your healing with care, respect, and compassion.
